ในตอนบนภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือของประเทศไทยว่าทั้งสองสถานที่ส�าคัญของลุ่มน�้าสกลนคร 1) เทือกเขาภูพานเป็น
ฐานพื้นที่ของทรัพยากรทางการเกษตรจากป่าเต็งรังและป่าดิบแล้ง และ 2) ทะเลสาบหนองหารเป็นแหล่งที่มาของทรัพยากร
น�้าจืดสัตว์น�้าและพืชน�้า นั่นหมายถึงปัจจัยหลักเหล่านี้ของภูมิภาคนี้ส่งผลกระทบต่อคนในท้องถิ่นเป็นอาชีพการเกษตรซึ่งจะ
เป็นรายได้ส่วนใหญ่ของเกษตรกรที่ปลูกพืชและปศุสัตว์

of agricultural and agro-industrial sectors of the region and the nation, transference of knowledge
to communities, sustainability of the nation’s academic uniqueness,
preservation of Thai local wisdom and traditions.”

Faculty of Natural Resources and Agro-Industry focus on education in the geographic of this area
and natural resource in upper North-Eastern of Thailand that the two landmark of SakonNakhon basin.
1) The Phuphan mountain range is base its the area of agricultural resources from dipterocarp forest and
dry evergreen forest. And also 2) the Nong Han lake is source of freshwater resources, aquatic animals and
aquatic plants. That's mean, these main factors of this region affect to local people as career as agriculture
which to be the most income of famers that cropping and livestock.
